I'm a novelist and artist, or to be more accurate, a writer who paints. 

A lot of my recent writing has been autobiographical, short stories, poems and a memoir about my family life. I'm also writing a novel at present about my childhood in Ireland. 

Amazon has my 20-odd books, including The Last Tiger, His Father's Son, and Wrecked. I also edit and write for the literary/arts magazine AEOS, www.aeosmagazine.com and assist with their book publishing arm, AEOS Books and NoirZ.

With my art, the Scottish figurative tradition and the Northern Art movement are the two main influences that I think I could say I grew up with and took on board. I discovered bits and pieces of what might be called Expressionism later on and from there tumbled into my own style. 

I've exhibited in a wide range of galleries in the UK and abroad.
